Personally, I enjoy reading Proverbs 16:31: Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained by living a godly life.
I think there’s a lot of women out there covering up their wisdom! ; )
On that note-El Guapo just turned 38. While outside at our cabin discussing this with the girls (without the birthday boy around) I asked them what would happen to dad when he woke up the next morning and was 38 years old. M exuberantly responded, “He’s going to have gray hair! But don’t tell him, he’ll feel bad.”
Of course, I just had to ask what would happen to me when I turn 38 (in three years), since I already have lots of gray hair. Just as quickly and I think maybe more excitedly than her response to what would happen to her father she says, “You’re gonna die!”.
Take note. In the mind of a five-year old life progresses as such: brown hair, gray hair, death. Good to know.
It’s clear she has no gray hair to help her out with such wise topics : )
