This is me hiking with Melissa. She’s our friend who lived with us this summer. She’s back in Uganda teaching kids who don’t have the money to learn without her help. Isn’t that cool? I miss her a lot. It was really fun having another woman (over the age of 11) in my house. Also-El Guapo was at times a bit overwhelmed at the emotional (in)stability in the home. He played lots of pinball this summer.
I love girls!! I also love El Guapo. But girls are lots of fun to be chitty chatty with. Melissa is working with the organization Every Child Ministries. If you’ve ordered cookies from the girls’ baking company you know that 50% of their profit has gone to her. Great picture! So glad you generously shared your home with Melissa this summer…a win-win situation. We met some Uganda Christians touring Israel when we were in Tiberias, around the Sea of Galilee. We’ll pray for Melissa and her work there.
